Aisya

Life is like a rainbow. You could find colors in it. They are; violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. The colors represent the days in our lives; there are good and bad days.

Different colors bring different connotations. Green is familiar with peace, while red is synonym with fire. One could stay calm during his ‘green day’, but could turn upside down during his ‘red day’. Everything seems easy during our ‘green day’ but it turns the other way round during our ‘red day’. One could maximize his ability during his ‘green day’ but paralyze completely during his ‘red day’.

When thing seems hard, there is nothing to be worried of. It’s just another ‘red day’ in our lives. Violet, yellow, and green days would come aftermath, certainly. While waiting for the ‘red day’ to end, one must sit and ponder; why everything seems wrong? There must be something wrong somewhere. Take some times to recite al-Quran and understand them. For truly, with remembrance of Allah there is peace. ;-)

The ‘red day syndrome’ affects almost everyone, from students to workers. If you are having some problems in study/work, here are some tips;

-clear our mind from anything that could bother. If possible, settle them before begin revising/working

-pray to the Almighty, to grant us with the understanding of beneficial knowledge/ to gain His blessings in each work that we do.

-take wudhu and perform solat if haven’t.

-if music could interfere (we pay a lot of attention to the lyrics), switch to something else

-quickly ask for help if there are parts we don’t know. Don’t give up too early.

-study in group/work with people.

-while being ‘tepu’, take some short rest and drink plenty of water..

----------------

it’s easy to write tips, but the practical part is not that easy

so, what colour is your day?
